Qing Dynasty: Silver gilt carp jumping dragon gate ornament
In 1966, the Tongjiang Bridge in Changshu City was unearthed
The plaque is flat, silver, gilt throughout. Carp and dragon gate are depicted with a carp carp. The carp is placed in the rough water and struggles to soar upward. The dragon gate is a roof building with a heavy eaves hall, and two cirrus cloud patterns under it, symbolizing the dragon gate in the heavenly palace. The decoration is delicately delicate, exquisitely made, quite dynamic and lifelike.
