Changzhou's telecommunications business was established in 1883 with the establishment of China's first self-run long-distance telegraph line. It has gone through several stages of government and business supervision, private capital management, post and telecommunications division and merger, and corporatization operation, and has gone through a tortuous and brilliant mileage from a difficult start to leapfrog development. With the unremitting efforts of several generations of telecom employees, communication technology and network construction have kept pace with the times, and service levels and communication quality have continued to improve. After the founding of the People's Republic of China in 1949, especially since the reform and opening up in 1978, Changzhou's telecommunications industry has achieved leapfrog development by relying on technological innovation and market drive, and has become the main force of information communication in Changzhou. The exhibition content of this museum is divided into three parts: the evolution of telecommunications, the development of communication technology, and the inheritance of the glory of the original intention, which concisely shows the development trajectory of Changzhou Telecom and is the epitome of Changzhou Telecom's century-old history.
